My late Mum did procure a lot of wears for me during the Christmas celebrations while growing up; but a particular T-shirt stood out among the rest. This was because it came in pair of which the same insignia was positioned in front of the material. Mine was a navy-blue Tee with red designs on its edges and on the insignia and my brother’s, an Ochre Brown Tee with black edges and on the insignia.

I never thought of this insignia as brand Logo then, I just saw it as a symbol of an affirmative with a written word (slogan) JUST DO IT!
Many years later, I got to know that the motive behind the Nike slogan was to inspire and motivate people to push their limits, overcome obstacles, and take actions. It was basically designed to encourage athletes to step out of your comfort zone and pursue goals no matter the challenges.
You find out that in our everyday life we need that motivation, that extra push to ‘Just do it’, to improve performance, to make efforts and achieve a better goal. So to motivate you today, to push for excellence, to strive in becoming a better person, to encourage you to overcome your obstacles – JUST DO IT!
