The louder we speak, the more flashy our appearances, the more likes we get— it feels as though these are the signs of success and validation.
But I've also noticed that some people choose a different way to shine. They are like "the sun that shines in the night"— a concept I created for people whose light exists but does not demand attention.
This kind of person does not chase approval or try to impress others. They understand that showing off can bring danger- jealousy, judgment, and even fake admiration. Instead of shining when everyone is watching, they wait for the right moment, when their presence truly matters.
They move in silence, knowing that true success does not need to be displayed for the world to see. Like the hidden sun, their light is always there, even if it is unseen.
