Night, though calm,
To me, it is the quiet before the storm.
Though it's beautiful,
But I can see through the evil motives lurking behind the hidden and the dark.
Waiting for the light to disappear,
And to snatch the light, like hope, faith, and trust, from someone.
To darken one's memory for life.
And to taint the negativity for life.
The most beautiful time of the day,
Yet not safeāthat's what instincts say.
All the negative energies surmount the air,
Staying indoors seems fair.
As the darkness covers and stars twinkle,
The fear in me grows by a factor of three.
Just waiting for my home to arrive,
Being selfish is not to be the one,
tainted by someone.
Praying that the night remains as dreamy,
as it was and not turn into a nightmare.
