My Journey as a Poet: A Tale of Unscripted Verses
Poetry to me is not just a mode of art—poetry is a sense, an unspoken melody that occurs so instinctively within my brain and onto the page. I began my career as a poet many years back, yet then I was not aware that I was beginning down a path which would play so significant a role in my existence.
There was this person, this special person, who unknowingly became the inspiration for my very first poem. It was no conscious effort, no intention of sitting and crafting verses for any cause. The emotions, the feelings—things just flowed into it, resulting in a rhythm, a pattern, a harmony that I didn't know even existed. And that was the moment when I discovered my passion for poetry.
Composition of poems never seemed like a chore or a talent that I had to master. Instead, it became something of an instinct, a natural rhythm of words that fell into place seamlessly. I never strain a poem out of me. It simply comes, sometimes in the stillness of night, sometimes in the midst of chaos during the day. The words fall into place, the rhythm begins, and before I even realize it, I have a poem that speaks my mind, my feelings, and occasionally even unspoken realities.
I never pursue poetry; it catches up with me. I believe that words have the ability to convey what the heart contains but the lips refuse to utter. My poems are not just organized lines; they are whispers of my soul, echoes of my innermost thoughts, and the silent dialogues between my heart and the cosmos.
This poet's journey is one that is near and dear to my heart. Each poem I write is a part of me, a window into my thoughts, and an interpretation of the world from my perspective. And so, with each line I write, I continue down this path—one begun many years ago, one mapped out by feelings, driven by life, and one that is destined to never truly conclude.
