In a village near Shirdi, there lived a young man named Mohan, who worked day and night in the fields to support his family.
One evening, he walked back home after a long day. A venomous snake slithered out from the bushes and bit him on the ankle.
Mohan fell to the ground, clutching his leg in pain.
Villagers passing by panicked and carried him home, but there was little they could do.
A healer was called, but he shook his head and said, "The snake’s venom is too strong," he said. "Only a miracle can save him now.
That night,Mohan had a strange dream. He saw Sai Baba standing by him, holding a pot of sacred ash (udi).
Sai Baba looked at him and said, “Do not fear, my child. The venom will not harm you. When you wake, ask your mother to mix water with udi and apply it to your wound.
He told his mother about his dream, who rushed to the mosque where Sai Baba lived.
She explained the situation to Sai Baba, who smiled and gave her some udi.
“Have faith in the almighty,” Sai Baba said gently. “The almighty watches over those who believe.”
She went home and did exactly as Sai Baba had instructed. She mixed the udi with water and applied it to Mohan’s wound.
Almost instantly, the swelling began to subside, and Mohan’s strength returned. Within hours, he was sitting up, the venom miraculously neutralized.
The villagers, hearing of this ,came to see Mohan, who shared his story of Sai Baba appearing in his dream.
Mohan became a great devotee of Sai and the snake bite became a symbol of faith’s power in his life.
And in the village, the story of Mohan’s miraculous recovery reminded everyone that faith, when coupled with the blessings , could conquer even the deadliest of fears.
