Thank you for taking the time to see my article. It’s lovely to have you here today, let’s get started!
I think I am not the only one who keeps thinking about how quickly can I improve in my developmental areas and how to keep that continuous improvement mode on. We all are continuously working towards doing better in those areas to gradually reach that special milestone which means a lot to us. However, I have observed that “motivation” (a key ingredient in the recipe of transformation) might not be the same every day and keeps varying quite often. The next thing that crosses my mind is, how can this motivation be kept unimpaired. It’s not always very easy to keep trying each day, without seeing immediate results with 100 % accuracy.
As the World keeps changing its rules, the pressure to match its expectations and to build our own space is very overwhelming. We might also start losing motivation if we are unable to match our expectations. At this point, the important thing is to keep a close check on the timelines that we have planned for ourselves. This could also help us to decide in case any revision is needed to our existing schedule and timeline. Hence, each new day could also bring with itself amazing opportunities that might help us in slowly shaping up the transformation journey.
The main thing that has gradually unfolded for me is “seeking motivation to be at that 1 %”. Each day presents itself with new kinds of challenges, opportunities, vulnerability and fear. All these aspects seem to be somewhat co-existing together and are mostly linked to each other (either directly or indirectly). Things often take time to shape up exactly as they are supposed to be, maybe even greater than our own aim and imagination. Hence, gradually adding up that 1 % in the 100 % can be the target, but being at that 1 % is the root and the main important thing is to accelerate our personalized transformation journey.
In order to be at 1 % each day, we must be mindful of all the things that are our motivators and practice them in whatever capacity it is possible. We all have unique life journeys which also means that we will have a range of different things motivating us. There could be various motivational techniques that might work subjectively for everyone. I think it could also help if we can create a unique list of all the motivational activities for ourselves. This would also mean that we include all the things that enhance our motivation to a greater degree. Additionally, we can also assign a percentage to each motivator (this will be based on the specific motivator’s impact on us).
We will gradually start to notice that this percentage allotment might also shift based on the motivation required. Hence, we may need to create a revised motivation plan based on these allocations, as some new motivators might also start to join our list! After all, if 1 % is the main root, we must ensure to keep at it and nurture it day by day so that it gradually forms into a beautiful and comprehensive transformation.
Thanks a lot for your time. I will catch up soon, wishing you a very pleasant day ahead!
