But Ricky wasn’t so sure about himself. “What if I can’t reach space?” he thought. “What if something goes wrong? Maybe I’m not ready!” He felt scared and wanted to give up.
One of the engineers noticed Ricky looking sad. She patted his side gently and said, “Ricky, every part of you is made perfectly for this mission. We all believe in you, and you should believe in yourself too!”
Ricky felt a little better, but he was still nervous.
Finally, the big day arrived. Ricky was moved to the launch pad, where he stood tall under the starry sky. Bright lights shone all around him, and the countdown began:
“10… 9… 8…”
Ricky’s engines rumbled. “I hope I can do this!” he thought.
“7… 6… 5…”
The ground shook as the engines roared louder.
“4… 3… 2… 1… LIFTOFF!”
With a burst of fire and smoke, Ricky zoomed into the sky. He soared higher and higher, past the clouds and into the dark, quiet space.
When Ricky looked around, he couldn’t believe his eyes. Below him, Earth glowed like a big, beautiful ball of blue and green. Stars twinkled everywhere, and planets floated nearby.
“I did it!” Ricky thought, feeling proud. “I made it to space!”
Ricky realized that the engineer was right .He was built for this mission. All he needed was to believe in himself and keep trying.
Now Ricky was the happiest rocket in the universe, ready for any adventure.
Moral: Believe in yourself, and you can reach for the stars!
