The Ministry of Justice of Montenegro issued the following statement a few hours before the end of’year 2024 :
« Today, at the border post of the’ Podgorica airport, the South Korean citizen Kwon Do-Hyung, wanted by two countries — South Korea and the United States —, was extradited by officials of the National Office of’Interpol in Podgorica with the support of the local police. »

After a first January in detention on American soil Kwon Do has been presented before Judge Robert Lehrburger, the Southern District of New York of Manhattan, to clarify to the justice what’il wished to plead in front of the nine counts of’indictation which weigh against him.
