The five ideas I've shortlisted are based on the fact that at least two or three of them can be easily done by every teenager in India. Secondly, making money through these ideas is easy; although you won’t earn a lot, the money you make will still be worth it. All of these methods can be done online, sitting at home.

I know what you’re thinking: "We’re teenagers, how will we test websites? We don’t even know coding." But don’t worry, I’m not talking about technical coding or user testing, which involves paying users to review websites. Basically, they show you a random website and ask you to navigate it, view different pages, and record your thoughts. You’ll give a spoken review about the site—what you liked, what you didn’t, what you thought of the design, etc. So, basically, it’s like reviewing a restaurant dish on Zomato or Swiggy. Websites pay you around $10 for 20 minutes of your time to give your review.

If you’re a student, I’m guessing you take plenty of notes, whether handwritten or typed. If you’re like me and don’t make notes, you might need them during exam time. You can make money by selling your notes online. If you have typed notes, you can turn them into an eBook. Even if you have just 100 notes, you can scan them, create a digital copy, and compile them into an eBook. Publish your eBook through Amazon and sell it for a nominal amount – 20 or 30 rupees. This would help you easily make 20k-50k rupees in case you sell it to 1k+ students.

We all know one language or the other and it may be English, Hindi or even some regional vernacular like Bengali or Kashmiri. You can teach these languages online. Websites such as Preply let you sign up as a language teacher and provide lessons to pupils. Even if you teach 1 hour for 300 rupees a day, you would reach about 3,000 rupees a month by teaching every day.

Several of you are into photography, and it need not be prosumer DSLR stuff. You can also sell mobile photos. There are websites such as Shutterstock, iStock, etc., where photographers can upload the photos to earn money every time someone downloads them.
