Factorise the following expression
x^2+xy+8x+8y
Solution:
x^2+xy+8x+8y
In first two terms x is common factor so take out and in last 3rd 4th terms 8is common take out then
= x( x + y). +8(x + y) here (x + y) is common factor take out
=(x. + y) (x+8)
