Kolkata is known as the megacity of joy, and as someone who lived there and paid close attention to the pavements, thoroughfares, and requests, I must say that I've fallen in love with the megacity.
Despite my ceaseless chatter, let me partake of many reasons why I adore Kolkata.
1. Street Shopping
As a huge addict of shopping, I adore the requests, whether they're in Gariahat, Bada Bazar, or New Market, though I tête-à-tête prefer Esplanade, New Market. I loved tromping down the lane, taking in the beauty of the structures, and indulging in the original culture. The new request had everything, from bags, jewellery, and earrings to apparel.
Still, Gariahat is a great place to go for blouse shopping during fests if you want to enjoy the bustle of people. However, Gariahat is the place for you if you want to wear a saree and need a developer blouse for Durga Puja. The request is for everyone and has everything you need to avoid leaving empty-handed, including a coverlet, ménage goods, and gift particulars. Still, the Bada emporium is the stylish place to go if you want to buy a saree. We will talk about this later.
2. The megacity, its thoroughfares, its cookery.
The cookery of the megacity is also cherished. Street food always wins in my opinion. This only covers the food set up on the road. Let's look at it, also.
You can call it pani ke batashe, panipuri, golgappa, or phuchka. Phuchka is a feeling. You may buy a plate of four phuchka for as little as ₹ 10, though the price may vary based on the position. It's a great mix of racy and savoury flavours.
Ghugni For about ₹ 20, you may buy a tasteful plate of ghugni. It feels different to feel the warmth of ghugni when shopping on a quiet, windy evening.
Particularly offered on original trains, jhalmuri—a light, relish snack with namkeen and diced vegetables—is a must-pass.
Pyaazi, Aloo Bonda These are basically potato and onion fried galettes. It's a favourite snack when spending time with Muri. Numerous families indeed consider it as a supper volition in the evening when they ask to eat commodity light.
The list is expansive and can be bandied at a later time.

3. Ferry peregrinations and ghats
Whether a couple or a group of scholars, the ghats are a popular destination because of their beauty. For me, Princep Ghat is the most stylish. It's amazing to feel the cool breath on a chilly night with beautifully lit lights.
Ferry lifts are essential; they give a lovely experience at a reasonable price.
4. Tourism and Monuments
Kolkata is known for its heritage. And it offers colourful places to explore. For illustration, Victoria Memorial, St. Paul's Cathedral Church, Indian Museum, Kalighat and Birla Mandir, James Princep Monument, Fort William, Howrah Bridge, Second Hooghly Bridge, etc.
5. Kolkata and carnivals

The megacity is notorious for its gleeful atmosphere during Durga Puja, Kali Puja, Christmas, and other carnivals. The adage "12 mashe, 13 parbon" applies to Kolkata, where every month is a festivity.
The pandals throughout the megacity and the bustle are peaceful to observe. Park Street and its decorations during Christmas are a must-see.
6. Eden Garden and Science City
Science City and Eden Garden are the places to be if you are a wisdom sucker or a sports addict.
7. The well-known unheroic hack and original train trip
The original rail lift is fantastic, as is gorging while travelling. One can buy a ticket for a short-distance trip for a fairly low price and take in the stirring decor. Once the hack lifts, you should try taking a road trip from one place to another.
8. People
The megacity's residents and their happy relations are what make it so cherished. People are informed and have a good time. This group of people is ideal for you if you have a strong interest in sports, poetry, or literature.
There are innumerable reasons to visit Kolkata. It's better felt by one who investigates it. Would you like to go there?
