In a farmyard, there lived a hen named Henny and a cock named Crooks .They had a lovely family of four little chicks.
Every morning, Crooks would crow loudly to wake everyone up, and Henny would teach the chicks how to peck grains and find food. She always told them, "Stay close and listen carefully. There’s safety in staying together."
One day, while Henny was busy teaching the chicks, one of the little ones, Cheeky,found a bright butterfly and decided to catch it. The butterfly flew over the fence and into the nearby forest. Cheeky, ran after it without thinking.
When Henny counted her chicks, she noticed one was missing. "Oh no, where’s Cheeky?" she clucked . Crooks, hearing the panic in Henny's voice, quickly took charge. "Don’t worry, I’ll find him," he said .
Crooks called out, "Cheeky, where are you?" But there was no response. Henny thought for a moment and came up with a plan. "Let’s call out together," she said. So Crooks crowed loudly, and Henny clucked gently. Hearing their voices, the other chicks joined in too.
Far away in the forest, Cheeky heard his family's calls and realized he was lost. "I shouldn’t have wandered off," he thought, feeling scared. He followed the sound of the crowing and clucking until he finally saw his family waiting at the edge of the farm.
Henny hugged Cheeky with her wings. "What did I tell you about staying close?" she asked gently. "I’m sorry, Mama. I’ll never run off again," Cheeky promised.
Crooks smiled and said, "Remember, we are strongest when we stick together and listen to each other." The chicks nodded, realizing the importance of staying safe as a family.
From that day on, Cheeky never wandered off, and the little family stayed happy and close, always looking out for one another.

Listen to your elders and stay together with your family, as unity and care keep everyone safe and happy.
