How are birthdays celebrated !? In different countries it has different rituals. Cutting cake, balloons, and many more... How India celebrates it? I would say it varies from state to state . I can't say about other states but in my state we do a certain kind of pitha called "chakuli'' and khir and distribute around the village. It was kind of old rituals as it says that doing this will lead to life long and happy of child .
But nowadays it's slowly getting replaced by cake . Many people enjoy it.... Children like it very much though we can't exclude adults here!!
