Heyy there! I am a British official,
Us ruling over is always traditional.
Look! There are the natives,
Their indiscipline is so irritative!
Watch those petty Indians!
We are the supreme guardians.
No one can go against us,
They seem weak, so anonymous.
They call themselves natives,
But they’re ruled by our hand.
We bring death to their hopes,
Yet they call this their land.
"Yes, you're right,"
Said the native calmly.
"Under your rule,
We work silently.
But we are the fireflies,
Our light spreads far.
We hold our strength,
No matter who you are.
We are a family,
And we are brave.
Our land is ours,
Not something to enslave.
You call us anonymous,
Your rule brings us tears.
But we are the natives—
We’ve survived for years!
You call us uncivilized,
Petty, and unknown.
But this is the land
Where we were born and grown!
