DAY-5

Yeah, it was 2nd day in Udaipur. There were so many places to visit in Udaipur, that we were not full. On the 2nd day, we firstly had no plan where to visit. I just started surfing on Google searching “places to visit in Udaipur”. I saw another lake which came in the top list of Udaipur. I read a lot of reviews about this lake. Some commented that it was much more realistic and relaxing than Pichola Lake because it is not as much crowded as Pichola. This lake was ‘Fateh Sagar Lake’. We just, after having breakfast in the hotel itself, visited this lake. As the comments suggested, this lake was really relaxing. There were restaurants alongside but not as that expensive. We again had a boat ride in this lake. This was much better boat ride than that of Pichola Lake. It was so clean water that we were able to see a lot’s of fishes in the water. I personally recommend you to visit this lake. The boat ride only cost us Rs50(0.90$) per head. Alongside the lake, you can also see horse riding, elephant riding. We had an elephant ride. It was just for 10 minutes and cost Rs100(1.48$) for 4 people. Another sightseeing that was worth seeing was a place which was around 20km from the ‘Fateh Sagar Lake’. This is a palace named “MONSOON PALACE” which is located on the top of a hill. It took us around 45-minutes to reach this palace. It seemed to be a very old palace on seeing it from outside. On entering inside, there were a lot of things to be seen. There was also a 3d map of the famous range of Rajasthan “Arravali Range”. We were also allowed to visit at the top of the palace. It was all free to visit in that palace. On the first floor of the palace, we could see whole view of ‘Udaipur city’. We were also able to see the City Palace and all the lakes we visited. That was really an amazing view of Udaipur. Going on the top floor of the palace was a real amazement. It was really breathtaking. We were able to see the view of the Arravali hills. It was a spectacular view. The Arravali hills were all made of sand. It was really very difficult to gon on the top floor of the Palace. But it was too worth it. We were not able to go out of that place. We were felt in love with that view. We clicked a lot of photos. This was all free. Everyone was amazed. You will be asked by lot of tourist guide to guide you. But don’t take their guidance. You will be able to see a lot of information boards near every important place. Secondly, they will hurry because they have to guide more and more people in the least time. By this, you will not be able to have full amazement. After visiting such a spectacular place, we just headed towards our hotel and rested back. Again in the evening( after 7:00pm), we headed out for a short ride and shopping in Udaipur. We visited the famous ‘Bapu Bazaar’. There were many shops selling Rajasthani Justis in a cheap price than here in North India. Also the quality was very nice. There were also many restaurants and traditional dhabas. It was very nice to be there.
