One evening, a boy named Oliver went for a walk in the orchard behind his house.
The orange trees were full of ripe fruit, and he thought about picking some to take home.
Suddenly, he heard a soft "Hoot!" from the top of an oak tree.
Oliver looked up and saw a wise old owl sitting on a branch.
The owl blinked its big round eyes and said, "Oliver, do you know that not every orange is ready to be picked?"
Oliver was surprised. "What do you mean?" he asked.
The owl explained, "Some things take time to grow. If you pick an orange too early, it won't be sweet. But if you're patient and wait, it will taste perfect."
Oliver thought for a moment. "Thank you, Owl. I'll wait until the oranges are ready."
The next day, Oliver visited the orchard again and looked for the ripe oranges only.
He waited until the oranges were bright and juicy before picking just a few to enjoy. He smiled, remembering the owl's advice.
Moral: Patience leads to better results.
