"Pursuing Star"
In the calm of the evening, I run,
Pursuing stars, individually.
They sparkle far, barely too far,
Like dreams past the sea's ocean side.
With each step, I feel their light,
Directing me through perpetual evening.
Trust shines brilliantly inside my chest,
A fire that never stops.
However far off skies might appear up to this point,
I go ahead, pursuing each star.
Through valleys profound and mountains tall,
I won't ever stop, I'll gamble with everything.
Each sparkling star, a fantasy untold,
A dream enclosed by strings of gold.
I run, I fall, yet rise once more,
Driven by what exists in.
For each step, an example learned,
An insight profound, an enthusiasm consumed.
I pursue the stars with open eyes,
Looking for bits of insight past the skies.
Furthermore, however I realize I may not get,
Each star I pursue, each fantasy I match,
Carries me nearer to who I'm,
A searcher of stars, a visionary spontaneous.
In each pursuit, in each flight,
I find my solidarity, I see as my light.
For in the stars, I see my heart,
Perpetually pursuing, a thing of beauty.
