The easiest way to execute arithmetic operations quickly and more efficiently. How about you start calculating long equations in a fun way without any stress? Vedic Maths will allow you to do that. Not just division and Multiplication but there are techniques even to solve complex differentiation and integration problems. On top of it, you can easily discard pen and paper from your system and switch on to brain calculations. You will magically reduce silly mistakes from your calculations automatically. Let’s talk about those fundamentals? Let us share with you some brilliant Vedic Tricks that will make you a genius. We have secrets that will allow you to calculate complex Maths problems 10X faster. Fun Fact: According to Wikipedia, People with unusually high ability to perform mental calculations and Maths Tricks are called mental calculators or lightning calculators. Find the Square of a number ending with 5 in seconds Ok, so it is very easy to square 25. That must be on your tips or you can directly multiply 25 × 25. But, what about 725? Here, Vedic maths tricks come into action. Let’s see how: Step 1: Multiply Ten’s digit number with its succeeding (next) number. = 72 × (72 + 1) = 72 × 73 = 5256 Step 2: Find the square of the unit digit. Here, our unit digit is 5. = The Square of 5 will be 25. Step 3: Write down the answers to step 1 and step 2 together. = 525625. Here’s your answer Yes! It is that easy. In just three steps, you can square any digit ending with 5 in a few seconds. Divide a large number (any digit) by 5 These Vedic Maths Tricks are by far the easiest of all the tricks mentioned here. Yes, you can divide any large or small numbers with 5 in a jiffy. Hey! Wait. We are not just talking about numbers ending with 5. But, other numbers as well. Actually, any number with any number of digits. Let’s divide 67834 by 5 Step 1: Multiply the number by 2. = 67834 × 2 = 135668 Step 2: Move a decimal point to the left. = 13566.8 The left side of the decimal point is your answer. Oh! Yes. Just in two steps. You got your answer: 13566. We dare you to try the same Maths Trick with larger numbers and do let us know, how it worked for you. Multiply any 2-Digit number by 11 This is again a very simple trick that will allow to you quickly multiply any two-digit number with 11. Let’s understand this in a better way with the help of an example: 98 ×11 (It’s just a one-step trick. Hold on! Don’t get this excited.) Step 1: 9 (9 + 8) 8 = 1078. Did you notice that the sum of these digits was 17? So, we have only considered 7 in between and 1 carried to add up to 9 and it became 10. 8 got copied down as it is. And Voila! You got your answer. Multiply any number by 12
You won’t believe that this ‘multiply any number by 12’ trick can b applied anywhere. If you try to multiply a large number, let’s say, 765843 by 12, then it will take at least 3-5 minutes in the calculation. And, will definitely require pen and paper. But, what if we say that you can do the same calculation in your head? Have a look at a few of those Maths Tricks to help you do that:
Chalo, let’s take the same number, 765843. We have to multiply it by 12.
Step 1: Start from the unit digit and double it.
= 3 + 3 = 6 (Keep it side)
Step 2: Now, double the next digit and add the result to the digit on the right.
= 4 + 4 = 8 ; 8 + 3 = 11. Keep the unit digit and carry forward the ten’s digit. (That means, keep 1 and carry forward another 1 to the left side.)
Step 3: Now double the next digit 8 and add the result to the digit on the right.
= 8 + 8 = 16 ; and then, 16 + 4 = 20 (keep 0 and carry forward 2 to the left side.)
9190116
Step 4: Now double the next digit, that is 5.
= 5 + 5 = 10 ; add to the digit to the right ; 10 + 8 = 18 ; Plus the carry forward digit that is 2 in it. You get 20
Now carry forward 2 to the next digit in the left.
Step 5: Next number in the series is 6.
= 6 + 6 = 12 ; Add the carry forward that is 2. 12 + 2 =14 ; Now, plus the number in the right. 14 + 5 = 19 ( Keep 9 here and carry forward 1.)
Step 6: Same you will do till the end. Double the digit. Add the carry forward and add the number to the right. This is it.
Step 6: Combine all the numbers you get in all the steps. You will get your digit: 9190116 is your answer.
