Had the life been fairer to the souls so pure

Sometimes I dream of a world adorned with fairness for those with hearts so pure,

Where love and compassion flow back to them, as rich as they bestow.

Even a fraction would suffice, a balm for the soul's enduring strife.

Yet, here I stand, in wonder's embrace, knowing life's gentle cruelty.

For it seems the fairest hearts endure the harshest trials,

Shaped and tested by a world unkind.

They say these trials forge beauty, that unfairness carves the soul's grace.

But still, I muse, how splendid it would be,

If life, in all its vastness, showed a bit more kindness to hearts so beautifully rare.
