One fine morning, I woke up in my bed groggy and tired. My first instinct as it was on most days was to check my emails. I opened my mail and saw the inbox refresh to show me 10 new emails. The next moment I heaved a sigh of relief as there were none that were of importance.
While still trying to recover from my morning blues, a random thought struck me – what if I could run away from this dreary routine?  Like a runaway bride who runs with her lover never to look back or maybe I could change my name and leave the country to start afresh. The possibilities are endless. Maybe even become a famous DJ who throws trance parties for wild animals? Now that’s perfect.
Suddenly the perfect scenarios running through my head are interrupted by a ping from my office colleague. The brain stops the flutters and excitement of the heart and instead I feel a gush of fear and uncertainty as I start my laptop.
How unfair is it that we cannot live many realities in a single lifetime. Is it too much to ask for?
