Once upon a time, tired of floating around in Nothingness, God split itself into four Realms.
God’s Mind becomes the Heaven Realm. The Mana rich atmosphere gave birth to Allfather and the angels. Beings with Magic flowing in their veins.
God’s Body becomes the Hell Realm. The hot Aura bursting from its land created Lightbringer and the Demons. Beings physically enhanced with Force in their muscles.
God’s Spirit becomes the Mortal Realm. The serene Anima of the Earth becomes the perfect habitat for the Holy Dragon Kamiryuu and the various beasts.
God’s Desire becomes the Chaos realm. The cold purple shadow became the dwelling of the Chaos Snake Apep.Â
While the nature of the other three Deity Realms are to create, Desire only wanted to own and devour. Spelling a recipe of disaster for the other three.
Recipe for a terrible dish called war.
Apep was hungry. Apep wanted to conquer. Apep wanted to take without creating on its own. Yet, compared to the other three, Apep was weak. Chaos doesn’t have power of its own. Chaos can only take the power of others.
Apep realized, it needed strength. So it went to Hell realm. Apep infected almost half of the demons. Making them Apep’s. They became Furvurs. Creatures of chaos.
It doesn’t take long before Furvurs turned Hell into its own feeding ground. Rage and revenge, two of the most nourishing desires Apep ever could dine on. Increasing its power as it feeds on it.
Lightbringer managed to chase Apep away, but Apep did not stop there. It had tasted flesh and power, and it was hungry for more. So Apep travelled to the second realm. Our Mortal realm.
Furvurs and Beast armies were on par with each other. Kamiryuu thought it could win. Apep was weak anyway, so this shouldn’t take long.
But Kamiryuu was mistaken. Within each wrath, each anger engorged in the hearts of other creatures, the stronger Apep become. To the point that Kamiryuu was no longer Apep’s opponent.Â
Hope seemed almost lost. Mortal realm shall be the second world under Apep’s invasion, and Heaven will be next. Something to the horror of the three Realm Deities.
Only one thing that could stop Apep at this point. Self sacrifice. Kamiryuu absorbed Apep’s essence as well as chaos energy, while Lightbringer and Allfather used themselves as the seal to keep Apep imprison in the Chaos Realm.Â
Before they went and forever chained themselves to the Chaos Realm, the three Realm Deities combined their power. They created a new species. Guardians in case Apep managed to break free someday.Â
And that, is the tale behind the creation of humans. Luckily for us, Apep was still locked away in the Chaos Realm.
For now, that is.
The war was soon forgotten. The task left to the mortals becomes tales and myth, only used as bedtime stories for children.
All the while, Apep was waiting. Waiting to be free
