“AN ETERNAL BOND AMIDST SHIFTING TIDES”
Like seasons and weathers that change without warning,
Circumstances shift,
People transform with passing time, forgetting their core
Nothing endures unaltered
Amidst the shifting patterns, I seek a true friend,
One who echoes the melody I sing,
Dances alongside me in the same rhythm,
Shares in my laughter and wipe away my tears
Making my dream a shared aspiration
Loves me through all my seasonal variants
Where shall I find her when all I perceive is change within and without?
Yes, I too change like any other
Yet, within me resides a selfish seeker,
longing for a perfect soul whose heart beats just for me!

AT CROSS ROADS: OF LOVE AND LONGING
A semblance of doubt creeps in,
Of love and longing.
Loved when near, longed when far,
Distance a challenge, movements stalling.
Longing a fondness or just a memory?
Song of love growing faint, a distant melody.
Etched memories, arise sometimes
Neither forgotten nor held firm with ties.
A state of Confusion consumes
To Let go or not, a decision that looms.
“Holding on is tough, when life’s at stake,
Leaving love guarantees a heartbreak.
Biting time in contemplation,
Longing for love, a sign of desperation.
Yet, longing isn’t solely love’s decree,
Loneliness clings, making it hard to be free.

TREADING THE CHOSEN TRAIL: A Hopeful Odyssey
I regretted the road not taken
I pondered, though belatedly
Walking the untrodden path,
With countless footprints etched deep into the soil,
Have truly made all the difference?
The chosen road with imprints of mine only, bore relentless potholes
I stumbled, I bruised, I cried, countless times,
Finally, exhausted from walking,
Now crawling
Inch by inch, on an uncertain path,
Driven only by a flicker of hope within
Destiny remains unclear, but I persist, though weary
Believing the road, I chose will lead me to a place where I truly belong.
