Home – A place, no!

For her – They (twin flames) were the definition of home, far away yet close to her.

They were her saviours, her comfort and peace.

Painting her black and white life with the shades of eternal happiness and solace, they were the light.

The beautiful and magical autumn came to an end blooming her gentle soul.

Waking up after a long night, reading the notice of them leaving for the military, she felt numb and her heart ached.

Her eyes showed no emotion, her heart cried.

Leaving a farewell message and reading one of their goodbye letters, she was in floods of tears.

Laying lifelessly, staring at the blank ceiling, remembering them, her night ended.

Waiting, the only option she left with.

Placing the book on the sand, sitting at the beach, lost in the thoughts of seeing them in the military uniform, her lips curled into a grin.

Waves hit the shore and she was out of her thoughts,

Her smile faded away seeing a polaroid of ‘Them’ laid in the pages of the book blowing in the wind,

Sweeping a wave of nostalgia over her, the memory from the picture in the polaroid blurred.

The sunsets, the stars, the moon, the lavender field and the twilight, the songs and the books, everything reminded her of them.

Sunsets no longer made her feel at ease, moon no longer soothed her soul, the beautiful lavender lost their shine,

Without them, she felt no peace in the beautiful sceneries of the nature mentioned.

Her days went in the blink of an eye but the nights lasted long, letting her cry.

Her days passed staring at their pictures for hours, sobbing silently and touching the ‘Moon and Sun’ bracelet on her wrist resembling the twin flames.

With their laughter and giggles echoing in her ears, her vision blurred with tears, her weary soul longed for them.

Failed to cope with the tragedy, her weary soul dived into darkness in their absence.

Wished to fall into a deep slumber, pausing the time, she wanna wake up after the end of tough times.
