Today the birds chirped
With the voice of silence
And I could hear the
Silent rays of sun
The vibrant colors of sound
Are now fading away
In this vast, endless sky
Where should I find it?
I am now trapped
In this endless breath
Of souls, talking to me
But unable to hear them
What are they saying?
I can’t understand them
It’s like a loop
Of blank, empty words
My head is filled with
Confusion and anger
As I am now unable to
Hear my soul thereunder
Is this my punishment
For me to let go of the voices
Which I have been hearing
Rather than not listening?
I am now vulnerable
As there is now a dying duckling
In my heart;
Which can be recovered
By the voices, but can’t!
You left me like
A lost soul in a maze
Surrounded by instruments
But are now useless to me
As I am now DEAF
