Do you want to be able to earn your pocket money or pay your college fees with your own money? Do you have a passion for traveling but lack the financial resources, or don’t want to ask your parents for it? Or do you want to earn money just for the sake of trying new platforms and helping other people earn money? Then you have landed on the right page. In this article, I’ll tell you 5 methods (tried and tested by myself and a lot of other people) to earn money online from the comfort of your home without spending your whole day on the computer or without any specialized skills (No computer, no worries, all these can be done just with your smartphone).

So, let’s begin:

1) USERTESTING

UserTesting is an app trusted by leading brands like HP, Microsoft, Walmart, Subway, and many more that pay users simply to review and test websites. Sounds cool, isn’t it? But are you thinking that you don’t know anything about UI/UX, graphic designing, logo designing, coding, etc., then how are you going to review them? Wait, wait… don’t be disappointed. Here’s the catch: you don’t need any of these skills to earn from UserTesting. You only need to have good communication skills in English, French, or German language to be able to convey your thoughts clearly to the brands. It’s because the brands here want to get genuine feedback from the testers to improve their websites and make them more accessible to the audience. The better you will be able to convey to brands what you think about their websites, the better your chances will be to get more and more tests.

Eligibility Criteria:

– You should be at least 18 years old and have good communication skills to be a user tester.

– Testers are required to pass the application process, which usually is very easy, in order to start receiving tests and earn money.

– To receive payments, you should have a verified PayPal account, and payments are done in USD. For each successful 10-minute test, you are paid around $10. And for tests which are longer (about 30 minutes), testers are paid around $20 (it may vary).

2) SELLING NOTES

If you are a student, this can be a great medium for you to earn money online. There are many websites that pay people to sell their notes. Also, you don’t need any specialized skills for it. All you need to do is either make a PDF of your handwritten notes or you can also make digital notes and post them on any or all of the websites mentioned below. Once they accept your notes, you can set pricing for your notes as per your convenience (I’ll advise you to keep it low to reduce competition 😉). Once someone buys your notes, you’ll get paid by the websites.

– StudySoup

– Stuvia

– Notesgen

– Nexus Notes

These are some of the most trusted websites that allow students to upload their notes, study guides, and other educational materials to the platform. Other students can then purchase these materials, and the original uploader earns a commission for each sale. Also, apart from learning, it also gives students the chance to learn the art of writing and boosts knowledge.

3) TUTORING

Tutoring is another way to earn a decent amount of money. There are numerous sites that hire tutors online and pay them on an hourly basis. So, if you think that you have the capacity to teach people and have good communication skills, this job is for you. You can also create your own course on websites like Graphy and set your own pricing. It just takes a little amount of commission, and the rest of the money gets paid to you through PayPal or other payment methods. Some of the most famous tutoring websites include Chegg, Udemy, Graphy, My Private tutor, Skooli, and Tutorme.

4) MILYIN

This is what I’m doing right now. (lol, I know it sounds hilarious.) But Milyin is a platform that pays you money for writing, and it varies based on the number of views you get. But a topic like mine (the current article’s topic) can get you a really good number of views. You just have to keep posting according to your convenience and with every ad clickes, you’ll get paid .

5) VIEWPOINTS

Facebook Viewpoints is a new market research app that rewards people for participating in surveys, tasks, and research. Facebook uses these insights to improve products like Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Portal, and Oculus, and to benefit the broader community. You should be at least 18 years old to register yourself on face viewpoints.

Tasks on Viewpoints are available every 3 days, and every task gives you 85 points. Every 1000 points on this app can be redeemed for $3, which can directly be withdrawn to your bank account via PayPal or as gift cards. Now, this definitely isn’t enough for a side hustle, but you’re getting it for almost free without doing anything but sending your data, which is absolutely secure. It requires just merely 30 seconds to complete these tasks, and voila, you get 85 points.
