This holy city in Uttar Pradesh organizes the grandest and the largest religious festivals in India namely “Kumbh Mela” where thousands of devotees flock from different corners of the country. Allahabad has witnessed the days of administrative, cultural, and political influence when it was under the control of rulers of Hastinapur so the city holds a great historical as well as cultural importance in Allahabad tourism. However, the place is crowded throughout the year yet during the grand celebration of Kumbh Mela, the number of tourists increases to a different extent.

Being an important heritage of India, this two-storied house has been preserved very nicely and has been kept in the same way as it was before. Many of you must be aware of the fact that Jawahar Lal Nehru, the first prime minister of India was very fond of reading and so the house boasts of a library section where various books are kept.
