Oh my! Today was hefty day

Me and my friend just freely swayed

We were trying to find a treasure

But it just ended into a disaster

First we went then came back

As we followed the wrong, long track

I scolded him and he scolded me

As we were amateurs in each others glee

It was a hot and blazing day

We were the predators and treasure was the prey

As we travelled along the road

By deciphering the old map’s code

We took a lot and lots of turns

Because of the treasure which we yearned

It was a very precious treasure

As it held our beloved future

We bashed through the impossible obstacles

As we struggled to make it possible

Finally we saw a hope of light

As we sighted a crowded site

    We parked our chariot

    In front of humungous bastion

    And we walked out way

    Through a jam-packed fair

We saw a man, his silhouette dark

He guided us the way in a zigzag path

He gave us a hammer and a tack

There treasure chest was unlatched with a thwack

We looked in, with nervousness and curiosity

But I was dismayed by this commodity

It laid a brand-new, modern book

And my friend here, was happy and shook!
