I wish I was perfect,
Without a flaw or trace,
No mistakes to regret,
No blemish on my face.
I wish I was flawless,
With a heart made of gold,
Never causing distress,
Never being too bold.
But perfection’s a dream,
An unattainable goal,
We’re all human it seems,
With imperfections in our soul.
Our flaws make us unique,
A part of who we are,
They give us strength and technique,
And help us reach for the stars.
So let’s embrace our flaws,
And love ourselves as we are,
For we’re all beautiful and raw,
A shining, unique star.
