Once upon a time there lived a devotee woman.
They had no children.  They loved children very much.  Unfortunately, there was no child.  Then Mahadeva was pleased with their fervent prayer and asked them what boon they wanted.  Lord give me a child.  Lord Shiva said, I will give you the child but you have to answer one question, do you want a dull minded child?  Want an intelligent child up to 16 years of age.  Poor woman she was shocked.  What does he hear?  Lord please give me an intelligent child.  Lord Shiva blessed.  A child was born.  That pious Shiromani woman named him Markandeya.
She raised her son with affection.  He grew up to be a brilliant child.  Time has passed.  His sixteenth birthday was approaching.  His mother broke down crying.  Yama’s emissaries come back with Kala Pasam to take the child away.  They immediately said son, run away and sit on Shiva Lingam and hug him.  No one can touch you from there.  Markandeyan ran away and hugged the Shivalinga.  The rope of Yama’s messengers fell on Shivalinga.  Lord Shiva was shocked.  Yamadharma dare to touch me.  Angels whistled in front of Samharamurti’s anger.  ran away
Markandeyan and his family lived comfortably.  Thiruvathira for many years with good health
Thiruvathira is the birth star of Mahadeva.  It falls in the month of Sagittarius.  The legend behind Thiruvathira is the story of Goddess Sriparvati.
Parvati meditated for a long time to get Mahadev as her husband.  There are many rituals on Thiruvathira day.  Tiruvathira is actually a temple art and all women participate in Tiruvathira dance.  There is hand clapping and Kummiyadi dance. All women will be included in the social harmony. All women who participated in the dance. The group will present a program.
Dhruva was born to King Uttanapada (son of Swayambhuva Manu) and his wife Suniti. The king also had another noble son born to his second queen, Suruchi. Â Once, when Dhruva was a five-year-old boy, he saw his younger brother Uttaman sitting on his father’s lap on the king’s throne. Â Suruchi, jealous of his eldest son from his first wife (who – Dhruva – would be the heir to the throne, and not Suruchi’s son), scolds young Dhruva harshly for trying to sit on his father’s lap. Â When Dhruvan protested if he could not be allowed to sit on his father’s lap, Suruchi scolded him, ‘Go ask God to be born in my womb. Â Only then will you get privilege’. Â Suniti – the mild-mannered and now beloved wife – tried to comfort the distraught child, but Dhruvan decided to take his fate from the Lord himself. Â Seeing his determination, his mother bids him farewell as he embarks on a lonely journey into the forest. Â Dhruva decided to seek his rightful place for himself and noticing this determination, the divine sage Narada appeared before him and tried to stop him from doing severe austerities at such a young age. Â But Dhruva’s fierce determination knew no bounds and the bewildered sage guided him towards his goal by teaching him the rituals and mantras to meditate on while seeking Lord Vishnu. Â A mantra taught by Narada and effectively used by Dhruva was Om Namo Bhagavathe Vasudevaya. Â Advised, Dhruva began meditation and went without food or water for six months. Â The penance of his penance shook the heavens and Vishnu beappeared before him, but the boy did not open his eyes, for he was still absorbed in the inner vision of the form of Vishnu which Narada had described to him. Vishnu had to adopt the strategy of eliminating that inner vision. Immediately Dhruva opened his eyes, saw what he had been seeing in his mental vision, and bowed before Vishnu. But not a single word could be uttered. Vishnu touched Dhruva’s right cheek with his divine conch, which ignited his speech. A beautiful poem in praise of Vishnu is composed in 12 powerful verses, collectively called Dhruva-stuti.
Â
The Vishnu Purana gives a slightly different account here. While Vishnu was pleased with Dhruva’s tapasya (penance) and asked him to ask for the boon of varadana (gift of desires), Stuti (praise) asked for the boon of knowledge. Other persons would have asked for worldly or heavenly pleasure or moksha, but Dhruva had no personal desire. Renunciation of all desires is considered essential to eternal peace in Hinduism: this is the meaning of Dhruva-pada. That is the reason why Saptarshis decided to give Dhruva the most revered seat of Dhruvanakshatra – Dhruvanasakshatra.
Â
Having spent so much time in the remembrance of Vishnu, he even forgot the object of his penance and asked only for one life in the memory of Vishnu. Pleased with his penance, Vishnu granted his wish and further decreed that he would attain the state of Dhruvapadam, a celestial sphere that could not even be touched by the Great Deluge.
Â
Dhruvan returned to his kingdom to be warmly received by his family and won the crown at the age of six. He ruled in a fair and just manner for many decades.
The story of the pious leader Prahlad is famous. Â of the demon king Hiranyakasibu
Prahlad was the son.  Hiranyaka Shibu
Gods were not respected.  He is the monster
was respected  Prahladana had many gurus.
 Narada was one of them.
Narada is the sage of all creation
He was a devotee of the protector Sree Narayana.
Hiranya Shibu said that his son should not know about Gods
It was decided that it was enough to worship the demons.
 He ordered all his teachers.
 what
No guru should teach him the names of God.
If taught, the punishment will be more severe.  Devarshi
Narada taught the names of Lord Narayana
Prahlada.  No one knew about this incident.
 Once  Hiranyaka Shibu
When he looked at Prahlad who was the apple of his eye
Chanting the names of God.  He was shocked.  All his efforts failed.  All three worlds are available
 shivered  Hiranyakasibu got angry.
Who has Narayana names for his eyeballs
 Told.  He
 Searched for head and tail.
 No trace was found.
The child constantly utters the names of Narayana.
Hiranyakashibu was burning with anger.  He asked his son who is Narayan?
He was surprised to hear the boy’s reply.
Narayan is everywhere ,father.  Before this incident he had not named his child
Tried to push back.  But all efforts failed.
If he is in the pillar and the rust, then let me see the brilliance of your Narayan.  I cut the pillar with this sword.  Suddenly there was a sound of remembrance.  What do we see?  half lion, half man figure ferociously come out from the pillar. He killed Hiranyakashipu. And protected his pious devotee Prahlada forever .The whole Universe praised Mahavishnu for his mercy and kindness upon his devotees.
